The story
Brasserie Boulevard sits at Kortrijksesteenweg 175 in Sint-Martens-Latem, just outside Gent, where the Belgian kitchen pairs brasserie classics with lighter modern plates. Michelin listed the restaurant as Recommended in 2026, and Gault&Millau gave it 13 points the same year.
Shrimp croquettes and vol-au-vent appear on the fixed menu beside more precise dishes, such as ravioli with burrata, tomato and basil. The kitchen calls its approach authentic Belgian cooking with a touch of finesse. For larger tables, a 1.2 kg côte à l'os is served for two or more guests.
Natural materials and a warm setting shape the room. Guests eat on the spacious terrace in summer and by the open fireplace in winter. Thomas Schmidt leads the team, and he was named Gastheer Van Het Jaar in 2016 after time at Hof Van Cleve.
