The story
Stirwen is a Modern French restaurant at chaussée Saint-Pierre 15 in Brussels, where chef François-Xavier Lambory earned a Gault&Millau score of 15 in 2026. The address sits in Etterbeek, close to Place Jourdan.
Lambory builds the menu around the calendar. The house describes its style as classic gastronomy that respects tradition, with room for invention. The Michelin Guide lists Stirwen as Recommended for 2026.
The June 2026 menu shows how this works in practice. Crustacean season is in full swing, with Brittany brown crab and blue European lobster. Bluefin tuna from the Noirmoutier tanks, bouchot mussels and Provence tomatoes appear too. Meat dishes use veal sweetbreads, Quercy lamb and yellow Landes chicken, and the fish follows the daily catch from Brittany and Normandy.
A separate private room seats up to 24 guests. It is used for business lunches, diplomatic meetings and family gatherings. The restaurant also offers wine pairing and a catering service.
