The story
Le Buone Maniere is an Italian restaurant in Brussels at avenue de Tervueren 59, 1040, in Etterbeek. Gault&Millau awarded it 12 points for 2026, and it also holds a Michelin Recommended listing for the same year.
Maurizio Zizza draws his inspiration from the Tuscan hills and the Mediterranean coast. His Italian kitchen reworks traditional dishes in a gastronomic style, built on carefully selected produce and a respect for small producers. The restaurant describes his cooking as pure Italian tradition, revisited with a refined touch.
The autumn 2025 menu pairs classic Italian preparations with inventive details. Veal tonnato sits beside a beef carpaccio with almonds, green asparagus and pomelo. Cacio e pepe ravioli comes with marinated tomato and ricotta salata, and the taglierini are finished with black truffle from Norcia. Mains include Marsala-glazed quail with a potato and hazelnut croquette, and stuffed squid with roasted figs and oregano.
