The story
Loy Fah is a contemporary Thai restaurant at Schönfelsstrasse 3, Feusisberg 8835, near Rapperswil. It sits at the top of the Hotel Panorama Resort & Spa, and Gault&Millau awarded it 14 points in 2026. Michelin also lists it as Recommended that year.
Chef Pich Tongurai leads the kitchen. Gault&Millau describes the food as high-quality, authentic Thai cooking. The guide also warns that prices are steep, so the room suits a considered evening. The venue lists vegetarian and vegan options, plus a set lunch menu.
In the Gault&Millau review, the meal opened with a lightly seasoned tuna tatar, served with baked mushrooms and tapioca chips. A tom yam goong followed, balanced, slightly sour and spicy, with black tiger prawns and lemongrass. The braised beef short ribs were butter-soft and came with fried papaya strips. A light coconut tiramisu closed the meal. The drinks list pairs Thai drinks and teas with a selection of top wines.
