The story
LeMontBlanc, at Chemin du Mont-Blanc 1 in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, is a modern French restaurant that holds one Michelin star (2026). It operates within the five-star LeCrans hotel, on the edge of an Alpine forest above the resort.
Chef Yannick Crepaux leads the French kitchen, and Gault&Millau awarded the restaurant 16 points in 2026. Meals open with cornbread served with truffle butter and carrot hummus. A light brioche with milky notes follows, paired with tangy maple syrup and finished with freshly shaved truffle.
Scallops encrusted with parsley arrive in a slightly sweet sauce with Cornalin cheese and shaved Belper Knolle. Veal sweetbreads come with radish, caramelised prawn heads and Tasmanian pepper. The dining room has antique pine panelling, and dessert is a Vacherin mousse with dried fruit, pistachios and mustard seeds.
