The story
Zur Linde is a Swabian country kitchen at Sigmaringer Straße 49 in Stuttgart, housed in a listed former post station in Möhringen. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026, and Michelin lists it as recommended the same year.
Ferdinand and Maximilian Trautwein lead the house, which keeps the Swabian classics at the center of the menu. The kitchen cooks them after grandmother's recipes and adds changing seasonal dishes alongside. Ingredients come from local farmers and suppliers the team knows personally. The kitchen also cooks with Olav cookware.
The post station is more than 300 years old, and its historic rooms still feel like a traditional Gasthaus. Guests have included people from politics, business and public life, according to the house. The Schlemmer Atlas describes the place as a source of down-to-earth yet carefully prepared Swabian food.
