The story
ATAMA by Martin Stopp is a contemporary French and fusion restaurant in Saarbrücken, at Ensheimer Straße 20, Sankt Ingbert. It holds two Michelin stars (2026) for excellent cooking, and the menu draws on French, Italian, and international ideas.
The kitchen works with five, six, or seven courses built on the finest products from land and sea. Der Feinschmecker describes bold flavors and real variety, such as foie gras ice cream on a brioche crisp with dates, tarragon, and lemon. The main course is a matured Poularde d'Armoise with lardo and olive stuffing, served with an umami jus. Italian-inspired touches, such as marinated tomatoes, appear throughout.
The historic villa has turquoise-blue walls. The modern extension is cooler and more urban, with high-top tables and a Chef's Table. A casual bar menu in amuse-bouche format sits alongside the tasting menus, and the Atama Bar serves creative signature drinks with a well-curated wine list.
