The story
Sticky Fingers in Regensburg runs a contemporary fusion kitchen at Untere Bachgasse 9, and the Michelin Guide awarded it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking. The restaurant sits in the historic old town and works as both bar and dining room, with tables reserved for meals only.
Much of the kitchen's calendar is built around sharing. A four-course sharing menu is bookable for groups of four or more, served on platters and in bowls placed in the middle of the table. Once a month, a Wednesday five-course menu called Trust the Chef follows a single theme. Past editions have included rote bete risotto with skrei and brown butter, and a venison-led forest menu.
Vegetarian, vegan, lacto-ovo, gluten-free and allergy requests are handled with notice given the day before, and vegetarian dishes can often be arranged on the spot. Celebrations can be held in a private room, with details sent through the contact form. The Schlemmer Atlas describes the room as stylish and late-night, with a relaxed bar atmosphere, good music and modern, Asian-inspired cooking.
