The story
The Surf Club Restaurant in Surfside, Florida, is an American restaurant at 9011 Collins Avenue that earned one Michelin star in 2026. Chef Thomas Keller opened it inside the revamped Surf Club, his first property in Florida.
The à la carte menu follows classic Continental cuisine, updated for today's guests. Lobster Thermidor, Beef Wellington, Roasted Chicken for Two and True Ribeye are among the signature plates, and the Lemon Meringue Tart and Coconut Cake close the meal. Chef de Cuisine Daniel Donado leads the kitchen and writes the seasonal menus.
Old-world and new-world bottles fill the wine list, which Beverage Director Michel Couvreux designed to suit the Continental kitchen. The room celebrates the club's 1950s and 1960s heyday, and the wine program earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2019.
