The story
Pizzana's Brentwood location, at 11712 San Vicente Blvd in Los Angeles, serves Italian pizza in Santa Monica and earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good-quality, good-value cooking. The pizzeria belongs to a Neo-Neapolitan group, and its Italian kitchen centers on pizza made from one slow-fermented dough.
Master pizzaiolo Daniele Uditi learned his craft in Naples, and he lets his dough ferment for two days. The crust comes out light and easy to digest, yet sturdy enough to fold and eat with one hand. The Cacio e Pepe pizza, with provoloncino d'agerola, fior di latte and parmigiano crema, is the signature, while the Neo Margherita uses San Marzano DOP polpa with a basil crumb. Gambero Rosso awarded the pizzeria two slices in 2023.
Candace Nelson, the Sprinkles Cupcakes founder, shapes the dessert menu. The Chocolate Olive Oil Cake is a cult favorite, served with vanilla ice cream. The Salted Caramel Panna Cotta comes with caramelized pretzel crunch.
