The story
The Grill is a contemporary American restaurant at 99 E. 52nd St. in New York City, recommended by the Michelin Guide in 2026. It sits inside the Seagram Building and succeeds the Four Seasons restaurant.
The dining rooms are landmarked, and service captains look after each table. The menu draws on the American chophouse tradition. The signature Prime Rib is carved tableside from a cart. Lunch and dinner are both served, and there is a set lunch menu on weekdays.
Wine Spectator awarded The Grill its Grand Award in 2019, and the wine list is a real focus here. For groups, two private rooms are available: the Salon seats up to 15 and the Gallery up to 22, so parties of up to 37 can dine privately.
