The story
Jungsik, at 2 Harrison St. in New York City, is a contemporary Korean restaurant with a three-star Michelin rating for exceptional cuisine in 2026. The kitchen pairs Korean ingredients with French technique and wider Asian influences.
The signature menu opens with striped jack under Oscietre caviar and smoked fish sauce. Octopus comes with gochujang aioli, and mandoo is filled with wagyu beef and foie gras, served with gomtang. Sea urchin bibimbap sits on seaweed rice with kimchi and crispy quinoa. The yellowtail kimbap is built on truffle rice with crispy seaweed. The menu asks for the entire table to take part in the signature menu.
Guests can book the bar, the lounge, or the chef's table, and the restaurant also hosts private parties in a dedicated private room. The wine list is a point of focus, with pairings offered at several levels. Its wine program earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2018.
