The story

Spago Beverly Hills: California and American Cooking on Canon Drive

Spago in Beverly Hills serves California and American cooking at 176 N. Cañon Drive, and it placed 35th on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2004. The restaurant anchors the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's Beverly Hills address.

Cooking led by the kitchen team

Ari Rosenson is executive chef, with Areg Avanessian as chef de cuisine. The menu follows the market. Diners can order from a seasonal à la carte list or choose the chefs' multi-course California Tasting Menu, a longer route through the kitchen.

Room, private dining and the bar

The design is sleek and simple, which keeps attention on the plates and the service. Private dining ranges from a table for two in Private Dining Room 1 to the full restaurant for 100 to 300 seated guests, with a gallery space for smaller groups. Spago Bar stays open later than the dining room on every night it runs, and valet parking is available.
