The story
Ambassadors Clubhouse, at 25 Heddon Street in Mayfair, London, serves Punjabi Indian food and earned a Michelin Recommended mention in 2026. The menu draws on the roadside dhabas and royal North Indian dining of Punjab, built around shared plates.
Clay pot matka curries and karahi dishes form the core of the menu. The mutton keema naan comes with bone marrow masala, and smoky grills include Shahi Patiala lamb chops and Original BBQ butter chicken chops. Guinea fowl Changezi and Ranjit Shahi lobster curry show the range of the kitchen. Dessert is equally playful, with mango angoori rasmalai and banana, peanut and dark chocolate kheer.
Terracotta walls, deep greens and gold detailing give the ground floor a grand, residential feel, with open sightlines across the dining room. Downstairs is livelier, with a DJ booth and dance floor. In warmer weather, The Verandah offers an outdoor seat that is scented with jasmine.
