The story
Nicole is a modern Turkish restaurant at Tomtom Kaptan Sokak No:18 in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, and it holds one Michelin star for 2026 for its high quality cooking. The kitchen works in modern cuisine with a Turkish base, on the top floor of a building that dates to 1901.
Chef Serkan Aksoy leads the kitchen. The cooking uses seasonal produce and local ingredients sourced from across Turkey. Gault&Millau scores the restaurant 15.5 for 2026, citing its elegant presentations and balanced flavors.
Nicole offers two tasting menus. Menu No.1 is served until 8:30 PM, and after 9:00 PM only Menu No.2 is available. The courses include Circassian duck, a catch of the day with artichoke rose and brown butter sauce, and Trakya lamb chops with spring stew and lamb jus. Dessert is a Datça almond with cezerye ice cream and orange blossom juice. Wine and beer pairings are available.
The restaurant sits in a building constructed in 1901 as the Nursing Sisters apartments, later restored in the early 2000s. The dining terrace looks over the Old Town and the Princes' Islands. The space has air conditioning and outdoor seating.
