The story
Gallada is an Asian fusion restaurant at Kemankeş Caddesi No:34 in Karaköy, Istanbul, part of The Peninsula Istanbul. The Michelin Guide recommended it in 2026. Chef Fatih Tutak runs the kitchen.
Tutak draws on his Turkish heritage and his travels through Central Asia and China. The menu follows the old Silk Road eastward from Türkiye, reworking traditional flavours in a contemporary Turk-Asian style. Plates are designed to be shared, so the table tastes across the route together. Gault&Millau gave Gallada 15 points in 2026.
Topside Bar sits above the dining room and looks out over the Bosphorus. The cocktails take their cues from the Silk Road, with a maritime nod to the yachts that once filled the harbours here. Behind the bar are premium spirits, a deep list of whiskies, Turkish wines and local craft beers. Tutak also curates the small plates served alongside.
