The story
Beyti is a Turkish grill restaurant at Şenlikköy Mahallesi, Orman Sokak No:6 in Florya, Bakırköy, Istanbul. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant a score of 13.5 in 2026, and the Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended that same year.
The kitchen cooks meat on charcoal, and the restaurant's own account centres on that method. Beyti selects its meat by hand, rests it, seasons it with particular techniques, and then grills it over coal fire. Gault&Millau names Beyti Güler and Ahmet Güler as executive chefs.
The grill section of the menu is the core of the Turkish kitchen. Diners will find Beyti Kebap, Beyti Usulü Karışık, T-Bone Steak, Dana Antrikot and Kuzu Pirzola, along with Yogurtlu Kebap and Fırında Kuzu Kol. The olive oil dishes, such as Zeytinyağlı Enginar and Zeytinyağlı Yaprak Sarma, offer a lighter counterpoint before the meat.
The restaurant seats 450 guests in Florya, in a venue the team describes as respectful of its surroundings. Outdoor seating, a private room, a bar and air conditioning are all available, and the space accommodates large groups. According to the restaurant, it has hosted kings, prime ministers and film stars over the years.
The dessert list leans toward classic Turkish sweets. Künefe, Fırın Sütlaç, Kaymaklı Ekmek Kadayıfı and Baklava are all on the menu, with Dondurma and Pesmelba offered as cooler finishes.
