The story
Bo.lan, a Thai restaurant at 24 Soi Sukhumvit 53 in Khlong Tan Nuea, Bangkok, earned one Michelin Star in 2026 for high quality cooking. The kitchen works in the Thai tradition, with a menu built around the country's own produce and seasonings.
The kitchen takes a firm position on sourcing. Its ingredients and seasonings come only from within Thailand's borders, a conviction the restaurant states plainly on its website. A dedicated page traces produce back to the growers and makers behind it. The Green Guide has also awarded the restaurant three radishes for 2026.
The restaurant describes its menu, called Bo.lan Rot Klom, as a balance between taste, texture and aroma. Lunch and dinner are served as set menus, and guests with allergies, dietary beliefs or health conditions are asked to notify the team in advance so the kitchen can adapt the meal.
