The story
Jägerhof, at Brühlbleichestrasse 11 in Sankt Gallen, is a modern cuisine restaurant that earned one Michelin star in 2026. Chef and owner Agron Lleshi runs the kitchen, and the menu moves between a tasting menu of up to eight courses and à la carte dishes.
Lleshi serves, greets and farewells guests, then returns to the stove. He works with three apprentices and sommelier Wilko Bachmann. Gault&Millau awarded the kitchen 17 points in 2026. Classics such as Wiener Schnitzel appear on the same menu as more ambitious courses, and the plates stay focused, with few components on each one.
The Egg Benedict arrives with spinach cream, crisp rösti, smoked salmon and confit egg yolk, finished with Oona caviar and champagne foam. Crisp cubes filled with Taleggio come with morels and a wild garlic sauce. The braised beef ravioli carry a parmesan sauce and a nettle purée. There is no patisserie in the house, so Lleshi makes the praline selection himself.
