The story
Auberge Communale Le Mont, at Place du Petit Mont 4 in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, serves a French kitchen that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
Jennifer and Fabien Pairon run the auberge, and Jennifer leads the warm service. The French kitchen blends Burgundy roots with Vaud terroir, and the midday P'tit-Mont formula is listed at 37 CHF for a full menu.
Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 14 points for 2026. Its standouts include crisp Malakoffs with a molten centre of Gruyère and Vacherin, and poached eggs in Burgundy sauce. Butter-cooked Loé perch fillets come with snails and parsley, and a honey biscuit with lemon cream and white chocolate crémeux closes the meal.
