The story
Eintracht in Langenthal, Switzerland, is an International restaurant and catering house at Neue Strasse 6, Kestenholz, 4703. Michelin awarded it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good-value cooking, and Gault&Millau gave it 14 points the same year.
Marco Meier leads the kitchen, and Gault&Millau credits him with creativity and craft on the gourmet menu. The menu has opened with carpaccio of Swiss premium beef tenderloin, served with Belper knolle, rocket and quail egg. Roe deer loin in a mushroom crust, cooked pink, has followed with polenta ravioli and autumn vegetables.
The house calls its restaurant elegant and sensual, and the St. Peterstube offers a separate space for slower evenings. Hanna Meier, the hostess, finishes many meals with a cheese board of well-aged raw-milk cheeses. Gourmet menus run three, four or five courses, priced from Fr. 86 to Fr. 116 on the posted menu.
