Les Montagnards - Le Sommet in Bulle: Michelin-starred modern cuisine in Broc

Le Sommet, the gastronomic restaurant of Les Montagnards, sits at Rue de Montsalvens 4 in Broc, just outside Bulle. The modern cuisine here earned one Michelin star for 2026. The dining room seats twenty, so the kitchen works at a small, personal scale.

A new chef at the stove

The hotel announced Alexandre Miquel as the new chef, taking over the kitchen from 28 January 2026. Gault&Millau scored the restaurant 17 points for 2026. The brasserie menu changes every two months with the seasons, and the dishes are made in house.

Views and rooms

Windows face Moléson and the Gruyères castle. A pergola on the terrace keeps guests comfortable in strong sun or light rain. The building dates from about 1884 and reopened in August 2019 after a full renovation. The hotel has ten rooms, seven of them with a view of Moléson.
