The story
Ulla Winbladh is a Swedish tavern at Rosendalsvägen 8 on Djurgården in Stockholm, rated Very fine level by the White Guide in 2026.
The kitchen sticks to traditional Swedish home cooking and leaves trends alone. The White Guide praises an appetizer of vendace roe with chopped onion, sour cream and crispy fried bread. It also names the steak tartare and a sirloin steak with a deep red wine sauce.
The building was erected for the 1897 World's Fair and has been a restaurant since the 1950s. The name comes from Bellman's muse. Outdoor seating suits the warmer months, and the calendar brings crayfish days in August and a midsummer menu. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended in 2026.
