The story
L'Antic Molí sits at Carretera Ulldecona - La Sénia KM 10 in Ulldecona, where the modern cuisine menu earned a Michelin star in 2026. The restaurant is a fixed point for diners who want Ebro Delta ingredients treated with precision.
Vicent Guimerà has led the kitchen since 2004. The menu draws on local produce and seasonal supply, with an approach that the restaurant describes as rooted in rice fields, sea and mountain. The Michelin star recognises high quality cooking, and the 2026 We're Smart Green Guide awarded four radishes for its sustainability work.
The carta changes with the season, but recent dishes include Delta oyster with cucumber, sea bass with Delta canyuts, dried tomato and beurre blanc, and a creamy rice with Tarragona prawn. Goat with muhammara sauce and green figs appears on the meat list.
Since 2009 the kitchen has run monographic days on the galera, a mantis shrimp that was once considered a lesser crustacean. The team has developed more than fifty recipes with it.
The restaurant stands beside the Sénia river, with contemporary architecture and plenty of natural light. The site includes a 7,000 square metre regenerative vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen. Separate spaces cover the gastronomic room, a bistro and events.
