Chefs Tim Bood and Hette Hettema cook a light, contemporary menu in a former estate with views over the garden.
Tim Bood and Hette Hettema run the kitchen with a light, contemporary touch. The fine-dining menus lean on clean acidity and considered pairings, and the seasons shape the rotation. Gault&Millau scored the restaurant 15.5 for 2026.
Octopus arrives with almond and celery root under a thin lattice of crisp squid ink. Turbot comes with Zeeland mussels in a rich sauce. For dessert, strawberries meet lime and a gin-and-tonic granité, followed by an apricot sorbet with vanilla, honey and elderflower. Guests with dietary needs can ask about vegetarian and gluten-free options.
The restaurant occupies Vreugd en Rust, a listed estate in Voorburg. The dining room has linen-covered tables, brass chairs and chandeliers under a high ceiling. The terrace overlooks the park-like garden. Central Park joined Relais & Châteaux in July 2022, and its wine list runs to about 1,750 references, with sommelier Sasja Moonen guiding pairings.
