The story
roku is a French restaurant in Tokyo at 4-1-6 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, a short walk from Sangubashi Station on the Odakyu line. Gault&Millau awarded it 13.5 points in 2026, and Michelin lists it as Recommended that year.
A French chef cooks the savory courses, while a pastry chef makes the cakes. The omakase menus change with the season and with what the kitchen buys, so the plates on one visit may differ from the next.
The room is small, with counter seating only, so guests are asked to avoid strong perfume. Seasonal short cakes and fruit tarts are sold whole, and canelé come in packs of three or six. An anniversary course ends with a special whole cake and a message added for the occasion.
