The story
APICIUS is a French restaurant at B1F, 1-9-4 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and it appears in the Michelin Guide as Recommended for 2026.
The kitchen serves à la carte French dishes at lunch and dinner. At midday there is also a limited Déjeuner course, and desserts have a menu of their own. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 15.5 in 2026.
The wine list is one of the reasons to come, and a by-the-glass selection sits next to it. APICIUS also sells its own pound cakes as souvenirs. One is a dried fruit cake soaked in brandy, another is a black tea cake with orange confit, and seasonal versions change through the year. Anyone wanting more than one should reserve ahead.
