The story
L' Oste Scuro is a modern seafood restaurant at v.lo San Silvestro, 10 in Verona, and it earned a Michelin Recommended mention in 2026. The kitchen builds its menu around wild fish and shellfish, served both raw and cooked.
Simone Lugoboni opened the restaurant in 1998 after cooking with Angelo Paracucchi in Liguria and Rome. The restaurant describes itself as the first in Verona to cook only wild sea fish. Gambero Rosso awarded it two forks in 2022.
The tasting menu is served for at least two people at €145 per person, with a choice of raw or cooked starters. Grilled red prawns with asparagus and bisque represent the cooked side, while miso-marinated black cod with Siberian caviar is one of the main courses. Oysters are priced individually, from €7 to €12 each.
