The story
Ristorante Del Lago serves modern Italian cooking at Via Acquapartita 147, Bagno di Romagna, in San Piero in Bagno, and holds one Michelin star (2026). The restaurant has been run by the same family since 1971, and its Italian kitchen leans on vegetables and clean, layered flavors.
The business started with the passion of Catia's parents for good cooking and local ingredients. Her sons joined later. Andrea, a sommelier, arrived in 2009, and Simone took over the cooking in 2018 after time at San Domenico in Imola and Piazza Duomo in Alba. His dishes now feature many vegetables and a light, clean, deeply flavored style.
Dinner is built around tasting menus offered in contemporary, classic and seasonal versions. The wine list earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2024.
