The story
Zelo serves Italian and Milanese cooking at Via Gesù, 6-8 in Milan, and received a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026. The restaurant sits inside the Four Seasons Hotel Milano, where the menu follows the seasons across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Executive Chef Fabrizio Borraccino, originally from Abruzzo, rejoined Four Seasons Milan in 2019. He sources ingredients from small producers across Italy and builds many dishes around vegetables, roots and herbs. The lunch menu includes Milanese risotto finished with Aquila DOP saffron, and raviolo del plin filled with oxtail and Parmigiano fondue.
Architect Patricia Urquiola designed the dining room, which mixes contemporary furniture under natural light. In warmer months, the garden terrace among greenery suits a slow breakfast or a business lunch. The Wine Spectator gave the restaurant a Best of Award of Excellence in 2023.
