The story
La Veranda in Como sits at Via Regina 40, Cernobbio, inside Villa d'Este on the shore of Lake Com. The Italian dining room earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2023, and its kitchen serves contemporary Italian cooking at lunch and dinner.
Veranda hosts the Meet the Chef evening, which opens with a cooking demonstration in the main kitchen and an aperitif with the chefs. Guests then sit down at Veranda for a homemade first course and a main dish with wine pairing. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
The terrace overlooks Lake Como, and outdoor seating is one of the service options. A set lunch menu and a tasting menu are both available.
