The story
Blesius Garten Restaurants & Hausbrauerei, at Olewiger Str. 135 in Trier, pairs a French kitchen with Trier's first house brewery. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Kraft-Brau, brewed on site, runs through the menu. According to the Schlemmer Atlas, each dish comes with a personalized beer recommendation, so the glass is matched to the plate. The restaurant describes its beers and dishes as a small journey through brewing, with flavors meant to be tasted together.
The Blesius Garten is a family-run hotel with four-star status, a swimming pool and a wellness area. The restaurant and brewery share the building with a large beer garden, and the rooms and dining areas follow a country-house style. Cycling routes run through the vineyards along the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer, which makes the garden a natural stop after a ride.
