20zwanzig is the restaurant of Hotel & Spa Suiten FreiWerk at Thyrahöhe 24 in Stolberg, Germany, serving an International and Mediterranean menu. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 3 Kochlöffel for 2026.
The Schlemmer Atlas describes a five-course surprise menu with seasonal game dishes. The team works with the highest quality ingredients and an authentic style, and it blends regional roots with a curious look at cuisines from elsewhere. Guests can also choose from a selection of wines chosen to suit the food.
The restaurant occupies the FreiWerk, a half-timbered villa first built in 1894 as a summer residence. Its spacious terrace looks out over the surrounding mountain forests, and outdoor seating is available. Restoration work from 2013 brought back the original wall panelling on the ground floor.
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives are available if you mention them when booking. Nut allergies cannot be catered for, because traces of nuts appear in many foods. In the evening, the bar serves cocktails, long drinks and soft drinks.
