Restaurant Elia is a Greek taverna at Füssener Str. 96 in Kempten, and the Schlemmer Atlas gave it one Kochlöffel in 2026. It sits inside the Boutique Hoptel Bayerischer Hof.

The Greek kitchen

The Schlemmer Atlas singles out classics such as souvlaki, gyros and steaks. The menu goes further, with tapas, warm and cold starters, meat and fish dishes, and pan dishes. Vegetarian plates and desserts round it out. A set lunch menu is also on offer.

Rooms and beer garden

Dinner is served in the traditional rooms of the Bayerischer Hof, a hotel on the Iller whose history reaches back to the 15th century. In summer, the beer garden opens for meals outdoors, and the taverna describes it as one of the nicest in Kempten.
