The story
Berggasthof Hotel Duftbräu is a Bavarian inn at Duft 1 in Samerberg, in the Rosenheim area. Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 3.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
The Bavarian kitchen is built on classics such as roast pork and schnitzel, with vegetarian dishes alongside. Ingredients are regional, and game comes from the house's own hunt. Irmi's house-baked bread is a guest favorite. The menu follows the seasons: asparagus in spring, strawberries in summer, game in autumn. To drink, there is draught beer from a traditional Rosenheim brewery, plus Duftbräu Weiße and Duftbräu Schwarze.
Inside, the traditional Gaststuben are cosy and rustic, and they suit rainy days and winter visits. In fine weather the beer garden has a panoramic view over the Inntal.
