The story
Anglerstuben sits at Reichenaustraße 51 in Konstanz, directly on the banks of the Seerhein, and appears in the Michelin Guide as a Recommended restaurant for 2026. The kitchen works from the Lake Constance region, with Norwegian and wider world cuisine in the mix.
Seasonality and regional producers shape the cooking here, though the team says regional sourcing is no dogma. If a local product does not meet their taste and quality standards, they look elsewhere. The aim is to put the ingredient first. The Schlemmer Atlas gave the restaurant 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
From Tuesday to Saturday evening, guests choose their number of courses from two menus, Anglerstuben and Bodensee. A vegetarian menu follows the same lines, and vegan dishes are possible with advance notice. Sea bass and venison loin have appeared among the creative evening dishes.
Lunch runs Tuesday to Friday and changes weekly. A recent card listed Büsumer shrimp on toast with scrambled egg, boiled beef with horseradish, and salmon trout on wild garlic risotto with hazelnut. Kiwi lassi or yuzu sorbet closes the meal.
The wine list is entirely German, with more than 300 positions from every growing region. The large terrace on the Seerhein makes outdoor seating a good option when the weather allows.
