The story
Die Güldene Krone in Heilbronn, at Haller Str. 5 in Ellhofen, is a family-run inn with a Swabian kitchen. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 1.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
The Reinhart family runs the house, and it is now in its third generation. The menu centers on steaks, Swabian classics and seasonal game dishes. At midday there is a daily business lunch for 13.70 EUR per person, and the food can also be taken away.
Guests can stay overnight in the inn's guest rooms. The neighboring building holds an event barn and a vaulted cellar. The family also runs party service and BBQ catering for larger occasions.
