The story
Henriks is a restaurant in Hamburg at Tesdorpfstraße 8, 20148 Hamburg, cooking Mediterranean and international food. Michelin lists it as Recommended for 2026. Owner and head chef Claas-Henrik Anklam opened the restaurant in 2013 after years in Hamburg kitchens.
Claas-Henrik Anklam trained at the Georgenhof in Hannover and then spent ten years at Landhaus Scherrer in Hamburg, many of them as head chef. In 2006 he went independent with two partners at Tarantella. The menu changes regularly and relies mostly on regional, seasonal ingredients from producers the kitchen knows personally.
The Schlemmer Atlas awarded Henriks two Kochlöffel for 2026. The guide highlights a tartare menu alongside seafood and grilled dishes. The kitchen describes its plates as reinterpretations of classics, built around light, precise flavors and a sense of balance. Vegan and vegetarian options are listed among the tags.
A walk-in wine cabinet holds a handpicked range of wines and champagnes. The bar offers long drinks, cocktails and digestifs, and the Schlemmer Atlas notes its bar seating and big-city feel. The restaurant sits among greenery, with parking directly in front and outdoor seating in season.
