The story
Bodhi Vegan Living in Hamburg serves Asian cooking entirely without animal products at Borgweg 11, 22303 Hamburg, in Winterhude. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026, and the kitchen covers Vietnamese soups, rice and noodle bowls, and vegan sushi.
The menu draws on Vietnamese and Southeast Asian recipes. Hanoi Soup combines rice noodles in a broth of ginger, garlic and star anise with a vegan "beef," mushrooms and seasonal vegetables. Summer in Bowl places marinated tofu over rice noodles with green papaya salad, roasted peanuts and a lime-ginger vinaigrette. Among the starters, Papaya Love pairs shredded papaya and carrot with a lime-chili dressing, and Edamame arrives steamed and finished with sea salt.
Everything on the menu is vegan, drinks included, and the kitchen works with fresh produce and natural ingredients without artificial additives. The Winterhude room suits groups and evenings with cocktails. A second location operates in St Georg.
