The story
Restaurant Felix, at Kirstenstr. 6 in Glücksburg near Flensburg, is a French and brunch restaurant set in a Scandinavian-style room at the Strandhotel Glücksburg. The Schlemmer Atlas 2026 awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel, and the menu runs from breakfast through lunch and dinner.
The breakfast buffet is served daily and includes house-made salads, fish, sausage and cheese, a pancake station, scrambled eggs and fruit. Guests who are not staying at the hotel pay 29 euros per adult, and children aged 5 to 12 pay 16.20 euros. The lunch card offers smørrebrød on crusty bread, including roast beef with pickled vegetables and remoulade, or Eismeer shrimp with avocado and mustard cream.
The evening menu centers on dishes cooked on a lava stone grill. Options include tuna fillet with smashed potatoes and roasted beet tahini, lamb fillet with truffle fries, and a Husumer dry aged rib eye with creamy potato gratin. Béarnaise or pepper cream sauce can be added to the steaks. The Schlemmer Atlas 2026 gave the restaurant 2 Kochlöffel for its grill dishes and Scandinavian ambiance.
Desserts lean on bright fruit. One option is white chocolate with raspberry and strawberry crisp, another is cheesecake with passion fruit, watermelon and white peach sorbet. Ice cream comes from Kastbergs and is sold by the scoop, and a separate ice list lets guests build their own sundae.
