The story
Polster Gourmet-Restaurant serves Franconian and French cooking at Am Deckersweiher 26 in Erlangen, inside the Landhotel & Gasthaus Polster. Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Johann Polster has led the kitchen for more than 30 years, cooking for both the gourmet restaurant and the Polster Fränkische Stube. The house describes its kitchen team as multiply awarded. The inn has been in the family for over 160 years, now in its eighth generation.
Schlemmer Atlas highlights suckling pig and fresh Atlantic lobster served on the green terrace. Inside, the wood-paneled room keeps the rustic Franconian character of the house, with a few refined touches on the plate.
