The story
elements at Königsbrücker Straße 96 in Dresden holds a Michelin star (2026) for the modern international cooking of Stephan Mießner. The restaurant sits in a restored factory hall on the Zeitenströmung grounds, north of the baroque center.
After dark, elements serves a four-course dinner, either the chef's menu at a fixed €125 or a menu you assemble yourself from the card. Skrei fillet cooked at 49 degrees with saffron beurre blanc and fennel sits beside a Bürgermeisterstück of US beef with red wine jus and aged beetroot. Vegetarian menus are prepared on request.
Mießner builds dishes around contrast. Pineapple tomatoes arrive with avocado and sage, and lightly sautéed zucchini accompany robustly seasoned Iberian pork cheek. Der Feinschmecker singles out the baked veal sweetbread with potato risotto and truffle shavings.
The daytime deli runs a more relaxed card of regional cooking with a world outlook. Roasted Brussels sprouts with lemon yogurt share the page with a Boulevard Burger and a lamb curry with jasmine rice and coconut.
Rustic brick walls, steel beams and heavy leather chairs fill the hall, softened by floral arrangements from Martina Starovičová-Mießner. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded 3.5 Kochlöffel in 2026 and praised the room's style. André Seidel leads the service. The wine list pairs Elbe region bottles with European producers and a selection of champagnes.
