The story
Carte Blanche in Berlin is the French restaurant of Das Stue, at Drakestr. 1, 10787 Berlin, close to the Zoo. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Deep armchairs, tall curtains and a view over the Tiergarten give the room the feel of a large living room, according to the Schlemmer Atlas. The building was commissioned as a Danish embassy and converted into the hotel from 2009, with interiors by Patricia Urquiola.
The Schlemmer Atlas's 2 Kochlöffel entry lists beef carpaccio, veal cheeks and classic crème brûlée among the choices. Cocktails such as the Elixir Sour, Lavender Wave and Holunder Mare are also part of the bar offer. The listing notes a set lunch menu and vegetarian and vegan options.
