The story
Enoiteca Il Calice is an Italian wine bar and restaurant at Walter-Benjamin-Platz 4 in Berlin, close to the Ku'damm. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026, praising the variety and quality of a trendy spot that combines a kitchen, a wine bar and a wine shop.
The Schlemmer Atlas singles out flambéed cuttlefish, fried veal tongue and homemade pasta. Italian sausage and ham platters round out the picture. The menu is Italian with Mediterranean touches, and the kitchen also offers a set lunch menu and vegan options. The website lists a daily card and an evening menu, available in German and English.
The "Enoiteca" in the name is meant literally: wine is the organizing idea here. The house hosts winemaker dinners, among them an evening with the Montalcino estate La Gerla and a six-course gala with Bollinger Champagne. Il Calice also runs a wine festival, and it appears on the Star Wine List guide to great wine places in Berlin.
The venue has a terrace and kiosk, a lounge used for events and a separate wine shop. Photo galleries on the site document the wine and culture festivals of 2019 and 2020.
