The story
Bricole, at Senefelderstraße 30 in Berlin, cooks modern French with a global outlook and holds one Michelin Star (2026). The restaurant first earned the star in 2022.
Dinner is a six-course menu under the young proprietor Fabian Fischer. Steven Zeidler, second-in-command in the kitchen, cooks with imagination while keeping haute cuisine in view. The team describes its food as global but grounded, built on honest base products. A vegetarian or pescetarian version is prepared on request, so mention it when you book.
Duck liver comes with buttery Pommes Anna, glazed onions and a reduced blackcurrant jus. Confit lobster is paired with green apple chutney, Waldorf salad, Crème de Bresse and kaffir lime. After the main courses, a selection of raw-milk cheeses is offered.
More than 300 wines and sparkling wines from Germany, Austria and France, with a clear focus on Riesling. Pinot Noir and Burgundy have their place too. Guests may bring their own bottle for a corkage fee of 39 euros.
Light pastel walls and pale wooden tables give the dining room a quiet nod to the Sixties and Seventies. The feel is stylish and unpretentious, and in warm weather there is a terrace on the sidewalk.
