The story
Restaurant JB Messmer - Theaterkeller serves a Badische and French bistro kitchen at Werderstr. 1, 76530, Baden-Baden, and earned 2,5 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026. The cellar room sits within the Maison Messmer hotel and is open for lunch and dinner.
The kitchen follows the French bistro tradition, with classic dishes at midday. The evening menu keeps the classic base but reinterprets it for today. Seasonal accents change the plates through the year. On Tuesday evenings, Flammkuchen comes out of the oven in several variations, served unlimited.
