The story
moriki, at Lange Straße 100 in Baden-Baden, is an Asian restaurant inside the Roomers hotel that pairs Japanese fusion dishes with wider pan-Asian plates. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
The restaurant runs on a concept by The Duc Ngo, who describes the cooking as modern Asian cuisine with a crossover approach. The name combines "mori", forest, and "ki", the universal life energy, a nod to the nature-led idea behind the menu. Guests can book the Private Dining Room for a more intimate table.
The lunch menu, served from 12:00 to 16:00, includes tempura pimentos with truffle mayonnaise and beef udon with tenderloin and broccolini. A crispy prawn salad comes with spicy mayonnaise and yuzu-truffle vinaigrette. For sushi, the moriki sushi set offers a selection of sushi and sashimi, and desserts include crème brûlée and a mango coconut cream.
Michelin lists moriki as Recommended in 2026. The Schlemmer Atlas describes high columns and ceilings, a long bar, minimalist design, and an extensive sake and wine selection in a covered outdoor area. In summer, the patio offers a relaxed setting for dinner and drinks.
