The story
Pic, at 285 avenue Victor-Hugo in Valence, France, is a contemporary restaurant that earned three Michelin stars in 2026. Chef Anne-Sophie Pic leads the kitchen at the heart of the Maison Pic.
Anne-Sophie Pic works from a philosophy she calls Suffusion. Each dish starts from an aromatic framework, and flavours are sequenced during the tasting. Her signature plates include Berlingots ASP, white Millefeuille and blue lobster. Herbs and roots from the Drôme and wild plants gathered in the Vercors shape the menu, and the kitchen works closely with organic growers and foragers.
The wine cellar holds 2,600 references and 32,000 bottles, with a focus on the Rhône Valley and a vertical approach to Grands Crus. Sommelier Paz Levinson builds pairings that extend beyond wine to teas, infusions, kombucha and kefir. Guests can also book a tasting in the cellar's dedicated room.
