The story
La Chèvre d'Or serves French fine dining at Rue du Barri in Eze Village, near Nice, and holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide. The restaurant belongs to the château hotel of the same name.
Tom Meyer, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, took over the kitchens in 2024. He cooks for the gastronomic dining room and also for the bistronomic Les Remparts, the open-air Café du Jardin and room service. Lunch and dinner are both served, and vegetarian dishes are on the menu.
The château sits on a limestone peak between Nice and Monaco, and it has welcomed guests since 1953. Its view takes in the Mediterranean coastline, and outdoor seating lets you make the most of it. The wine list drew a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2024. Valet parking and private dining are available.
