The story
Le Prince Noir, at 1 rue du Prince-Noir in Lormont just outside Bordeaux, serves modern cuisine in a listed historic castle overlooking the Garonne. Its kitchen earned one Michelin star in 2026, and the restaurant also holds four radishes in the We're Smart Green Guide that same year.
Vivien Durand leads the kitchen, which the restaurant describes as precise, seasonal and rooted in regional producers. Menus shift with the seasons, so the dishes change from one visit to the next. The site also mentions themed dinners and evenings with guest chefs.
The Signature menu is priced at 160 euros, and a plant-based Menu Végétal at 110 euros suits vegetarian and vegan diners. Wine pairings are available with the main menus. A Menu Découverte at 60 euros is served at lunch only. The dining room is light and contemporary, with views over the park and the Pont d'Aquitaine.
